Hello Lux, and thank you. This post is getting something of a life beyond the grave at the moment. Which is nice. This and 'Myths about Men' nearly never saw the light of day at all as I was more nervous about posting them than almost any others. They are also the ones that got noticed. (Note to self: go figure.) And that sentence you mention was the last to go in and the one about which I was least convinced, thinking it too obscure. So. Never underestimate your readers seems to be the message all round.
