how else do you tie a knot unless you lace up your shoes by the bunny-ears method ?
Posted by zed at April 28, 2005 12:34 PMI'm not sure what knot I use but it's not that one. Looks cute.
Anyway that's a site worth knowing. My boy is still on velcro straps and I've not been looking forward to teaching him and findiing out he's gut his Dad's luck with laces. I'll send him to that site.
Posted by robin at April 28, 2005 02:30 PMi can't remember how todd learnt - he just did. my grandma taught me with a piece of string around an arm of an armchair. worked a dream.
Posted by zed at April 28, 2005 02:56 PMThe question here is:
Did you look up how to spell sacroiliac, or is it something that comes naturally?
Posted by Watski at April 29, 2005 12:34 AMHello Watski.
Actually I cheated and I did check that one. I thought it was 'sacroileac' but was saved from embarrassment by 'Check Selection Spelling'.
It is a word I have heard very often since I was a gardener's assistant at age 19 and began many years of back spasm. Never seen it written in all that time although I have heard it in at least two songs.
Posted by robin at April 29, 2005 09:19 AMOK, I'll bite, which songs?
Posted by bogue at May 2, 2005 03:36 PMHello Bogue.
I'm a bit vague now I'm in the witness box.
One was by 10CC, I think. Typical smartarse stuff probably.
The other has a line about 'broke my sacroiliac' which rhymed with something, probably 'heart attack'.
Wasn't laying a trail there, honest, but maybe I should look it up/think on.
