Nice to have you back Robin, fleetingly at least, hope you have a pleasant time on the continent. Sounds like you need it as a touch of ennui with Blighty is apparent in your post, though not surprising and ten years as an ex-pat have failed to lift mine so far. Can't comment of the travails of HP, we have the new book in the flat but the Guru is plowing her way through it in English (as if I could do the same in Japanese!) so might be a while until I get to read.
