Zoe says hang in there to Lizzie. You seem to have got some nice humans. Stick out for the top quality food though. No own brand trash. Just don't eat for a day and watch them panic.

Missed opportunity. All family gatherings should include cuddly animals as a requisite. There is probably a nice research project in that really - prime ratio of animal to human based on purpose for gathering, average alchohol intake etc etc. However, probably not really fair on the innocent creatures so the RSPCA would be up in arms. Shame.

Megan: interesting idea that. I know families who communicate by speaking about the animals. Perhaps there's something in what you say, especially on tricky occasions like funerals.
